FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
(And their frequent answers!)
What exactly is rueda de casino?
It is a fantastic type of CUBAN salsa where you dance in a group! You switch partners by doing moves initiated by a caller. You will pass the followers from one leader to the next and be able to dance with everyone in the class! What sounds more fun that meeting new people and learning a great new skill?
Do I need to bring a partner?
Not at all! We will be switching partners very frequently and there is always someone else who will probably need one too. Please feel free to come on your own!
Are there any age restrictions for students?
For the most part, NO. We have had 12-year-old students and 80-year-old students, and both were able to enjoy themselves in our class. Students need to be physically able to dance at a quick pace and must be old enough to understand how to follow instructions and be willing to learn. If you are unsure or have questions about the demands of the class in relation to younger or senior students, please contact us.

What if I can't make it to the first class, or miss a class mid-session?
Where can I practice outside of class?
We love when our students are enthusiastic about dancing with us and want to learn outside of the classroom. Feel free to check out our salsa schedule for a calendar of social dancing around Indianapolis! (And if you notice we're missing something, let us know!)
